Last Minute Heatless Curls For Christmas

Last Minute Heatless Curls For Christmas

So you’ve got a last minute Christmas party invite and we know there’s no time to turn on the curling iron and get a gorgeous mane. But, we also know some super easy, less time consuming ways to make sure you still get the curled hair of your dreams.

Here are some simple ways you can try to get some wave action going!

Heatless Curls with Velcro Hair Rollers

Without a doubt, this is the simplest, easiest and least time consuming way to get beautiful, well defined heatless curls. Hair rollers are easily available at general stores or drugstores. You can use small rollers to get an intense curl moment or large rollers to get a more casual beachy wave.

Use the rollers on your hair when they’re almost fully dry. Once the rollers are in, spritz some water on it or you can use a hairspray. Leave the rollers on for 20-30 minutes and then comb through your hair. If you’ve got bangs, you can use the rollers to give yourself a nice lift to pull your look together.

The T-Shirt Method

This one might seem a little odd but it does work! Grab a t-shirt and twist it, then shape it into a circle and tie the ends to create a halo of sorts. Place this halo on your head and then wrap parts of your hair into it and pin them in place with clips or bobby pins.

Sleep through the night with it on and remove the halo in the morning to get a head full of bouncy curls. This method works best when your hair is slightly damp so it can hold some shape. Use a hairspray to lock in these heatless curls and comb through it once with a wide tooth comb.

Good Ol’ Braids

Here’s a method that won’t take you longer than two minutes. Once you’ve washed your hair, let it air dry for a while. When your hair is slightly dry, braid it up! A simple braid will do. Leave it on overnight so when you wake up, you have glorious beachy waves.

You may see some frizz, but comb through your hair with a wide tooth comb and work in some anti-frizz serum or spray so you can clean up your look and you’re ready to go!

Socks To The Rescue

Another method that utilizes simple household items to give you a beautiful curled hair look is using a sock. Find an old pair of socks and cut off the end and roll it up into a donut shape. Use this as a hairband and tie your hair up into a ponytail. Once that’s in place, create a bun by pulling sections of your hair through it. Remember that slight dampness in your hair will help keep the shape for longer.

Again, leave this on overnight, and take it all off in the morning for some lovely wave action. Comb through it, add an anti-frizz serum and you’re good to go!

Leggings Galore

If you don’t want to cut up your socks, use a pair of leggings instead. No cutting necessary here! Part your hair through the middle and place the crotch of your leggings right in the centre of your head. Start wrapping your hair around the legs of the leggings on either side of your hair.

Keep twisting it away from your face to make sure they curl properly. After you’ve wrapped it all, just tie it up with a scrunchie like a halo around your head. Leave it on overnight, and wake up to gorgeous heatless curls!

Now that you know how to get these amazing heatless curls, don’t worry about your hair! Pick out your outfit and makeup with ease and go slay at your Christmas party.
